Willard Heating and Cooling is looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Plumbing Apprentice with an interest in water treatment systems. As an apprentice, you will assist experienced plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, while gaining hands-on experience and training in water treatment technologies like water softeners, filtration systems, and reverse osmosis. What you Will Do:

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, water supply lines, and drainage systems.
• Provide support during the installation and servicing of water treatment systems, including filtration units, water softeners, and reverse osmosis systems.
• Observe and learn from experienced plumbers to understand plumbing codes, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks under the guidance of senior technicians, such as cutting, threading, and installing pipes, and testing systems for leaks.
• Help troubleshoot water quality issues and assist in providing water treatment solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that tools and materials are ready for use.
• Assist with the preparation and inspection of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers when necessary, demonstrating a willingness to learn and a strong customer service attitude

What You Need:

• Valid Driver’s license
• Willingness to ride with a licensed plumber and assist with service and installation
• Clean driving record
• 21+ years old (insurance requirement for driving company vehicles)
• Trade school graduate preferred
• A strong interest in plumbing and water treatment systems.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions from senior technicians.
• High school diploma or equivalent (some technical training or coursework in plumbing or related fields is a plus).
• Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with tools and equipment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• No prior plumbing experience required—just a strong desire to learn and grow in the trade
